As the manager of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) program at EPRI, I am focused on accelerating the implementation of AI and machine learning tools in the electric power industry. These efforts are focused around building connections and collaborations between the artificial intelligence and electric power industries to enhance safe, reliable, affordable, and environmentally responsible electricity generation, transmission, and utilization. This effort revolves around collecting, cleansing, curating, and sharing data sets for training AI/ML algorithms, operationalizing EPRI’s data science platform, overseeing AI Grand Challenges, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders to advance the adoption of AI technologies in the electric power industry.
I enjoy tackling new challenges and solving problems. I’m a people person with excellent communication and presentation skills and work hard to develop a strategic vision and then develop supporting collaborations where everyone works to their strengths and succeeds together.
