Vivienne Byrd is the Librarian III leading the systemwide Full STEAM Ahead Initiative and Neighborhood Science Program at Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL). She currently serves as a member-at-large on the American Library Association's Sustainability Round Table and as an associate on the International Federation of Library Associations' (IFLA) Environmental, Sustainability and Libraries Section. Vivienne co-chairs the Citizen Science Month Working Group of the Citizen Science Association and is also the lead for the LAPL’s DTLA Mini Maker Faire.
